: I heard that if you leave your car parked in a garage for long period of time, like 6 months or to a year, the tires and wheels could get messed up. is this true? the reason I am asking is because im getting my liscense taken away for 6 months and i dont plan on driving it untill next spring when i can take a driving class to lose some of my points. : regards
one, lift the car up on jacks, just enough to take the weight off the wheels, but not stretch the suspension.
two, over inflate the tires...(40+ psi) if the tires do flat spot, they tend to work themselves out over a period of time, but it's kidna annoying...flumpety flumpety...kinda like a under inflated sheep.
